Golf in Balance App Privacy

1. Data stored on your devices

Golf in Balance stores app information such as your profile, goals, practices, rounds, reflections, reset history, language, reminder preferences, and saved intentions locally on your device. This information is not sold to advertisers.

If you use the Apple Watch companion, selected round and app state information is synchronized between your paired Apple devices through Apple Watch Connectivity.

2. Apple Health and Apple Watch

If you enable the heart-rate feature on Apple Watch, the app may request permission to read heart rate and to create a golf workout through Apple Health/HealthKit. This data is used on-device for the active golf experience and optional balance nudges. Health data is not sent to the Golf in Balance Balance Coach, is not sold, and is not used for advertising.

You control Health permissions in Apple Settings and can revoke them at any time.

3. Balance Coach and AI processing

Balance Coach is optional. It does not send anything until you consent and actively send a message. When you do, the message and bounded recent conversation context are transmitted through the Golf in Balance service hosted with Supabase and then to OpenAI to generate a reply.

• Coach chats and drafts are stored locally on your iPhone so you can resume them.
• Coach conversation text is not stored in the Golf in Balance application database or application logs.
• An anonymous authentication session and service-side usage counters are used to protect the service and limit requests.
• Session tokens are stored in the device Keychain.
• OpenAI may retain data for abuse monitoring under its applicable service policies.
• Starting a new conversation clears the current local Coach chat. Withdrawing AI consent clears Coach chats and invalidates in-flight replies.

4. Notifications and Live Activities

If you enable reminders or Live Activities, Golf in Balance uses Apple system services to show the information you request. Notification preferences are stored locally. You can change these permissions in Apple Settings.

5. Purchases

App Store purchases and entitlement verification are processed by Apple. Golf in Balance does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple handles purchase information under Apple’s own privacy policy.

6. Website and third-party services

The Golf in Balance website is hosted by Netlify. Normal technical request and security logs may be processed by the hosting provider. Links to external services such as Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Supabase, or OpenAI are subject to those providers’ own privacy practices.

7. Your choices

• You can delete locally stored app data by deleting the app, subject to data that Apple may retain independently for purchases or backups.
• You can clear Coach conversations or withdraw AI consent from the Coach interface.
• You can remove a saved Carry It Forward intention from the app.
• You can revoke notification, Health, and other system permissions in Apple Settings.

Golf in Balance App – Datenschutz

Golf in Balance speichert Profil, Ziele, Trainings, Runden, Reflexionen, Reset-Verlauf, Sprache, Erinnerungen und gespeicherte Vorsätze grundsätzlich lokal auf deinen Geräten. Bei Nutzung der Apple-Watch-App werden ausgewählte Runden- und App-Daten über Apple Watch Connectivity zwischen deinen gekoppelten Apple-Geräten synchronisiert.

Wenn du die Herzfrequenz-Funktion auf der Apple Watch aktivierst, kann die App die Erlaubnis anfragen, Herzfrequenz über HealthKit zu lesen und ein Golf-Workout zu erstellen. Diese Gesundheitsdaten werden für die aktive Watch-Funktion auf dem Gerät verwendet, nicht an den Balance Coach gesendet, nicht verkauft und nicht zu Werbezwecken genutzt.

Der Balance Coach ist optional. Erst nach deiner Zustimmung und nachdem du selbst eine Nachricht sendest, werden deine Nachricht und ein begrenzter Teil des letzten Gesprächs über den Golf-in-Balance-Dienst bei Supabase an OpenAI übermittelt, um eine Antwort zu erzeugen. Coach-Chats und Entwürfe werden lokal auf dem iPhone gespeichert und nicht in der Golf-in-Balance-Anwendungsdatenbank oder in Anwendungsprotokollen gespeichert. OpenAI kann Daten zur Missbrauchskontrolle entsprechend seiner geltenden Richtlinien aufbewahren.

App-Store-Käufe werden von Apple verarbeitet. Benachrichtigungen, Live Activities und Health-Berechtigungen kannst du jederzeit in den Apple-Einstellungen ändern.
